Butler railway station is the terminus of the Joondalup line in Perth. Other major infrastructure on the project included bridges over the rail tracks at Landbeach Boulevard, Benenden Avenue and the future Butler Boulevard.〔 A miscalculation about the vibration mitigation required on the last two kilometres of the line has led to extreme vibrations inside nearby homes, with over 180 home-owners having confirmed that they are affected.
